Nalanda Dance Research Center is a prestigious institution established to preserve, promote, and formally certify classical Indian dance traditions.Affiliated with Nalanda University, it offers a recognised diploma in Bharatanatyam across seven years of structured learning.A Nalanda diploma is widely recognised by academic institutions, cultural organisations, and performing arts bodies across India.Students who complete all seven years and pass their examinations are awarded the Kovid (Visharad), a qualification considered equivalent to an undergraduate degree in classical dance.
